What is a HydraFacial?

It’s a three-stage treatment that works to peel, extract and protect your skin to get it looking its best. The secret is held in the unique device, which features a special tip to help address your concerns.

How does HydraFacial treatment work?

Your treatment is split into several stages. The first step activates a cleansing peel, sweeping away dead, old and damaged skin cells with powerful exfoliation. Next comes a hydrating stage, where pores are unblocked and the skin is thoroughly moisturised. Finally, concentrated serums help to infuse the skin for long-lasting results.

What type of spot does the HydraFacial work on?

It targets spots, blackheads and blocked pores. It also sweeps away impurities and dead skin cells, while enriching the skin with topical treatments.

I’ve heard HydraFacial uses light therapy. How does this work?

The final stage of treatment ‘seals’ these positive effects and benefits on the skin, not only nourishing it with moisturising serums but adding SPF protection to prevent UV damage. It then uses LED light therapy to stimulate cell growth and the production of two key skin proteins, collagen and elastin. These give skin its smooth, youthful suppleness – production of which slows with age, so the treatment can also be considered an anti-ageing one.

How long does it all take?

Expect a typical HydraFacial treatment to take up to 1 hour; with immediate, visible improvements; and long-lasting effects. A course of treatments or top-ups might be needed to prolong the results, which we can arrange with you at the consultation stage here in Radlett.
