Lines and Wrinkles

One of the classic signs of ageing is lines and wrinkles. Lines and wrinkles form uniquely in each person, depending on genetics, bone structure, skin type, and repeated facial movements. Where one person might develop pronounced frown lines between the eyes, another might have crow’s feet or ‘smoker’s lines’, while yet another might have marionette lines descending from the corners of the mouth to the chin.

Treatments we offer:

Tired, Dull Skin

Our facial skin bears the results of weather, wear and sun damage more than other areas of our body. Old skin cells and clogged pores can cause congestion and a dull appearance. Exposure to harsh conditions can lead to dryness, broken skin and pigmentation. However, the good news is that with treatment the skin can be rejuvenated and brightened.

Treatments we offer:

Sun Damage

To protect itself from damaging UV rays, our skin produces an increased amount of melanin – the dark pigment which tans the skin after exposure to the sun. The production of melanin in sun-damaged skin can result in uneven pigmentation, dark blotches, and irregular colouration of the skin. Patchy or blotchy skin can have a negative impact on a person’s appearance, undermining confidence.

Treatments we offer:

Thread Veins

Thread veins are tiny but highly visible blood vessels which lie close to the surface of the skin. Initially, they look like broken red lines, but they can darken to blue or purple over time, becoming increasingly visible and unsightly around the nose and across the cheeks. Some of our clients feel self-conscious about the appearance of thread veins and come to the Skin Care Clinic to have them treated.
