Lynton Focus Dual

in Radlett, Hertfordshire

Focus Dual offers a unique combination of the latest clinically proven technologies for face and body treatments. Radiofrequency Microneedling and High Intensity Focused Ultrasound come together to give very good results.

Radiofrequency Microneedling
For tightening and freshening the skin, radiofrequency microneedling – sometimes referred to as fractional radiofrequency microneedling, or just RF microneedling — is fast becoming one of the most talked-about tweakments on the market due to its low downtime and impressive results.

You may be familiar with the skin tightening benefits of radiofrequency (RF) and you may also have heard about the collagen-boosting, skin-smoothing and rejuvenating benefits of microneedling. Well, radiofrequency microneedling brings those two technologies together in one powerful treatment.

HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound)
High Intensity Focused Ultrasound is a non-surgical treatment that uses ultrasound to lift, firm and tighten the skin. HIFU deposits focused ultrasound energy below the surface of the skin, enabling all the layers of skin to contract in just one treatment! This stimulates the creation of new collagen in the area; therefore this treatment is highly effective for firming, tightening and lifting the facial skin and can reduce excess skin on the body too!

Frequently Asked Questions

About Lynton Focus Dual

  • How long does it take to see results from Microneedling?

Some clients feel a difference in the elasticity of their skin in as little as 24 hours. However, the long-lasting results will be seen between 4-6 weeks post-treatment as this is the time frame in which it takes the body to produce new healthy collagen and elastin.

  • Is microneedling effective for hair loss?

Microneedling is known for its benefits to the skin and skin cell regeneration and the treatment is becoming increasingly popular for hair loss. Research has shown that Microneedling on the scalp helps stimulate stem cells within the hair follicles which can lead to hair growth.

  • Can Radiofrequency Microneedling (RFM) be used on all patients of all ages?

Patients with laxity concerns can benefit from the dual effect of the Microneedling with Radiofrequency. As the Focus Dual offers many different needle depths and intensity settings for the RF, treatments can be easily customised to every different skin.

Younger skins who do not yet require lifting and tightening can benefit from Microneedling without the RF to focus on refining pores, evening out texture, and improving overall quality.

  • How does a HIFU facial treatment work?

This non-surgical facelift works on the SMAS layer deep below the skin, which is the area surgeons tighten for face and neck lifts. Rather than surgery, the Focus Dual harnesses ultrasound technology to radiate energy to the SMAS layer to tighten, lift and plump the skin.

  • How does Radiofrequency Microneedling (RFM) compare to Injectables such as HA Fillers?

Radiofrequency Microneedle (RFM) is a great treatment to combine with Injectables to give your clients all-over fantastic skin quality.

Following an RFM treatment, your clients’ skin will gradually smooth out, improve in quality, and tighten. Fresh new collagen and elastin is producedadding nothing artificial.

Patients love how natural their skin looks as the results get better and better over time.

  • How does Radiofrequency Microneedling work?

Ultrafine needles penetrate the skin at different depths and release radiofrequency energy to heat the skin in a controlled manner, stimulating a wound healing response leading to the production of collagen and elastin

  • How many HIFU sessions are needed?

Treatments are carried out every 4-6 weeks and typically between 1 and 3 treatments are recommended for best results. Top-up sessions are performed as required, but usually only once or twice a year.

  • Is there any downtime with a Focus Dual HIFU treatment?

Due to the non-invasive nature of HIFU treatments, there is little to no downtime. You may experience red skin following the treatment, and a small percentage of clients do experience minor swelling symptoms.

These symptoms are mild and temporary. Your clients will be able to return to their normal activities straight away, and there are no special recovery measures needed. This is why HIFU has earned the name “lunchtime facelift”.

  • What are the benefits of combining RF with Microneedling?

Practitioners have observed much quicker treatment results combining both RF and Microneedling compared to one technology alone depending on the device used. In cases such as severe acne results can be achieved in half the time versus standalone technologies, increasing patient satisfaction dramatically

  • When will you see results following a Focus Dual treatment?

Results can be seen immediately, and the results get better and better up to 12 weeks post-treatment as your clients’ collagen is renewed.

We expect results to last 1-2 years however, this can be dependent on lifestyle and maintenance.
